How the counselling process works:

Initial consultation (1 hour)

This meeting involves a thorough conversation about your views on food and health and your current lifestyle. Together we take a close look at your regular eating habits, food likes/dislikes, food shopping/cooking style. You will be asked to bring a three day food record that reflects your food intake over three days. This should include all of the food you have consumed in approximate quantities (e.g., 1 cup, 1 tablespoon, 1 teaspoon, etc.), as well as all of the beverages you have consumed. Working together, we will set some goals to work on to bring you closer to optimal nutritional wellness.

Follow-up consultation (1/2 – 1 hour)

During a follow up consultation you check in on the changes you have made. What is working for you? What are you struggling with? Some people enjoy regular follow up and continue to develop their wellness plans. It’s up to you how many changes you want to make and how much support you would like to realize these changes in your life.

Fees for counselling:  You may be covered!

Ask if a Registered Dietitian is included in your work place benefits plan.

Initial Consultation: $65.00
